Installation of the rear view camera

- Horizontal installation of the rearview camera:

Remove the lining of your trunk to locate how to bring out the wire of the camera and allow the fixation of it. After choosing the best location for the camera, drill a hole with a diameter of 8 mm. We advise you to protect the support with an adhesive (type painter's tape) in order not to damage during the drilling.

- Vertical installation of the rear view camera:

Remove the plate pilot from its housing to locate the most suitable location. In the trunk, locate how to bring out the camera wire to allow the camera to be attached and connected to the vehicle's original wires as described on the previous pages. After choosing the best location for the camera, drill a hole with a diameter of 8 mm. Protect the support with an adhesive so that it is not damaged during drilling.

- Continued installation:

A light sanding may be necessary after drilling the hole so as not to damage the insulation of the camera cable. Remove the nut from the threaded rod of the camera, pass the camera wire (micro-connector) through this hole. Retrieve this wire from the trunk, insert the nut and screw it onto the threaded rod. The tightening must be strong enough to ensure the waterproofness and the good holding of the camera, be careful not to tighten too much what could break the threaded rod of the camera.

- Distance Viewing Template = WHITE LOOP
White loop closed = Templates visible (original selection).
White loop cut off = templates not visible.

Green loop closed = Normal image (original selection).
Green loop off = Reverse image up/down.

Precaution and setting of the ISIVU Beeper kit
The screen has 3 buttons on the back, so you can adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation, mode (4:3, 16:9) and menu language (English, French, Chinese, Korean, Italian).
The cleaning of the screen should be done with a soft cloth slightly damp, be careful not to press on the LCD screen to avoid damaging it. The back-up camera lens should be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not clean with a pressure washer.
