How to repair or replace a clutch master cylinder?

Repair of the component involves its cleaning and replacing faulty elements. Repair usually consists in demounting and disassembly of the clutch cylinder, cleaning its elements from traces of the working fluid, removing minor corrosion spots, and replacing broken elements. If you do not have such an experience, all work should better be entrusted to specialists at a service station.

If the damage is significant, it is not worth trying to repair the component. Such a component is to be replaced. We also recommend doing that at a service station, since without special knowledge and skills, replacement is extremely difficult. Besides, after installation, the clutch system has to be bleeded, doing which on your own is problematic.
